Small, fast growing tree/ shrub that can reach 15'-30' tall with an open attractive crown. Lots of showy white flowers and orange berries that offer a fall foliage gala and are persistent in winter. Prefers moist, rich acidic soil and full sun but tolerates partial shade. Excellent for for birds, grouse and turkey, deer browse and a wildlife hangout. Human use of the berries cooked and dried are known to help with diabetes, gout, heart disease. Do not eat berries raw, leave that to the birds. Great for the for CSP Program. Potted variety will be picked up in the fall.
