A heavy annual cropper that bears large size fruit. Lets applaud for these Red striped apples that are white fleshed with freshness. Ripens in mid-September. Great for applesauce, kabobs, pies, oatmeal and pancakes. Also a kid favorite for lunches because its white fleshy insides are slow to brown.
Apple trees generally need a companion fruit tree, such as another apple, plum, cherry or pear for cross-pollination. Crabapples also support healthy growth well! We recommend at least 2 varieties. The Cortland comes 5ft-6 ft tall, as a semi-dwarf and reaches maturity at 10ft-15ft.
