Bright red, juicy, good texture, all purpose apple. One of the best early apples for northern growers. Once you take a bite, you will know why this apple tree takes the blue ribbon at the State Fair! Ripens in late August to early September.
Apple trees generally need a companion fruit tree, such as another apple, plum, cherry or pear for cross-pollination. Crabapples also support healthy growth well! We recommend at least 2 varieties.
