High Water Erosion Issues

High Water Erosion Concerns

With annual precipitation over the last couple of years reminiscent of the early 1970’s and the high water year of 1986, current local high-water levels are having extreme effects on local properties and homes.  We understand that at times like these, property owners can become extremely anxious and even panic as water along the Great Lakes shoreline, rivers, and inland lakes continue to rise. Some property owners might even feel hopeless and discouraged. To help navigate landowners through this challenging time, the conservation district is here to assist you.
