Wetland local assistance pilot program: In accordance with amendments to Part 303, Wetlands Protection, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, that became effective November 6, 2009, the MDEQ/MDNR is implementing a pilot program to facilitate the role of local units of government (Delta Conservation District) in assisting interested persons with complying with Part 303.

The intended purpose of this pilot program is to increase the efficiently of the permitting process through better utilization of all available resources.
